I'll have to take 2 trains and 2 buses for a 2 hours trip from San Francisco. I'll have to leave my truck in SF over night (windows shattered, broken into twice since February), spend the night on a couch, then get up early to take a train 2 hours back into SF. All without even having my tooth brush with me.
I think I'm going to skip it. It seems like such an ordeal. And I hear that this tour is pretty great, that the set list keeps getting crazier. I really want to go, I just can't bring myself to do all of this... nonsense. Why is everything in California some sort of prodigious task?
And watch... I'll skip it and then before 2016 is over Robert Smith will unexpectedly die and I'll have missed my chance. I mean, it is 2016: the year where all the good ones die.
I just changed my mind. Instead of trains and buses, I'm just going to drive. And if I don't make it, I don't make it. I really don't want to have my 1st time on public transit in Cali be switching between 3 different transpo companies and also on a time limit during the evening commute. Sounds like suicide.
