Since I haven't made a public post in a while...

Things are still busy. Like I said before the Dreamscape install is over, we opened that bitch of a show and now we only have to run it once a week as a tech run to keep us all sharp for May when we switch itineraries. Jeremy is on board this week and we're training the flying understudies. It's been busy and the days have been long, but I absolutely love it because I get to fly for six or seven hours a day.

I've become really good friends with most of the cast... which is good on one hand, but on the other I've been thrown into the center of DRAHMA!... and I'm not too keen on that. I manage to avoid most of it, but my name is mentioned at times and that still bothers me.

If Royal Caribbean doesn't try to extend me I should be signing off in four weeks. Four weeks. It's going to go by so incredibly fast... and as much as that makes me happy it makes me a little sad at the same time. I'm going to miss the friends I've made here... two months of vacation is a long time to be apart from people who you live and work with twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week.

I think my mother has decided to speak to me again. The dialogue is extremely cordial, but at least she's decided that maybe, just maybe, I'm not the evil little bastard she thinks I am.

Umm... Rachel is sending the new Low album to me, hopefully I'll get it this Saturday, I can't wait to hear it.

I just can't wait to be home... even though it's not my home... not even remotely. I guess I should say that I can't wait to be in Pennsylvania. I just want to be in some cold weather, I want to spend some time in Philly, I want to take some long drives through the countryside of Chester County and blaze. It's been five months since I've smoked and while I don't really miss it I miss the context of it.

I also want to make my own schedule... sleep when I want, eat when I want, sit in a coffeehouse for eight hours if I want without worrying about what time I have to be back on the ship. And the whole "not working" thing. Yeah... I can't wait.

And there's a public update.
