Speed Bumps

Today started with the promise of a lot of piss and vinegar, but ended with the return of my excitement.

I talked to my dad and asked him for advice about my financial aid/IRS situation. He said I should just explain, in person, my adventures in Canada and my lack of documentable income. He seemed... hopeful.

So I'm going to go ahead and take my placement tests tomorrow. There's no reason to throw in the towel yet. If I can't get my Pell grant for this session the placement tests will still be valid for the next summer session or the fall semester.

I was also reminded that in as little as a couple weeks I may have my license back. I already have a new Impala to drive once that happens, which means I'll be mobile. Definitely a step in the right direction.

Things are looking up; I have a few things to look forward to and if I just persevere through the speed bumps I should be able to improve my situation by magnitudes in the next few months.
